8fig is looking for a social media influencer to manage and scale all our social media channels on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

About the position:

We're looking for a passionate, full-time social media & community manager to join our marketing team. In this creative role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, creating and managing an online community for eCommerce sellers, and amplifying our brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and informative content (text, images, videos) that aligns with the brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Create compelling content, including visuals, copy, videos, and interactive elements, tailored for each platform to engage and educate eCommerce business owners.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven social media strategy across our social platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, KPIs, and campaign performance, providing regular reports on growth and engagement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and brand voice.
  • Manage and moderate our communities on social media and review sites.
  • Engage with users, responding to inquiries and concerns.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Identify key opportunities for influencer partnerships, user-generated content, and community-building initiatives.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and optimize strategies based on those insights.
  • Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Manage and oversee all social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) ensuring a consistent posting schedule and brand tone.

Requirements:

  • Creative content creator: excels in crafting engaging content tailored to each platform.
  • Has a great understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Has 3+ years of results in social media management with a track record of effectively managing platforms and engaging communities.
  • Proven experience developing successful social media strategies that drive engagement and business growth.
  • Innovative: brings fresh, standout ideas to capture audience attention.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data for insights and decision-making.
  • Has good time-management skills.
  • Passion for eCommerce and financial services is a plus!
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audience segments.
