Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities, assessing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Design personalized treatment plans tailored to assessment results, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients’ physical function and overall well-being.
- Employ a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for injury prevention and physical wellness.
- Monitor patient progress consistently, documenting advancements and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
- Uphold accurate and current patient records in accordance with all regulatory requirements and clinic standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in educational opportunities and staying informed about advancements in physical therapy.
- Strong clinical expertise, with advanced knowledge in human biomechanics and functional rehabilitation preferred.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Current CPR certification required; additional certifications (such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist or Manual Therapy) are advantageous.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
- Experience in an outpatient environment is preferred, but new graduates are warmly encouraged to apply.
