We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to oversee production planning and order fulfillment for our CRISPRevolution Halo Platform. This role will focus on optimizing turnaround times, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, and will be instrumental in establishing world-class planning protocols.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-throughput manufacturing planning, lean methodologies, visual management, and 24/7 operational planning. This position requires both strategic leadership skills and a hands-on approach, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to oversee production planning and order fulfillment for our CRISPRevolution Halo Platform. This role will focus on optimizing turnaround times, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, and will be instrumental in establishing world-class planning protocols.

What You'll Do
- Order Management, Planning and Execution:
- Triage production orders at booking, determine the appropriate workflow, dispatch orders to the production team, and identify necessary materials.
- Manage a broad range of sgRNA orders and plan daily production and shipping goals, ensuring orders are shipped on time, and always before the committed delivery date.
- Prepare and communicate weekly and daily schedules for assigned product lines. Use the master production schedule as a guide and forecast potential shipment delays.
- Monitor and improve demonstrated labor capacity and resource management and utilization
- Provide proactive communication about client orders, either directly or through SalesOps, and address customer questions and concerns. Ensure any anticipated delays or timeline changes are effectively communicated.
- Implement and monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) for all CRISPRevolution product categories and establish KPIs. Update BOMs as needed and oversee GMP BOM management.
- Collaborate with Supply chain to determine material inventory and control. Adjust production schedules as needed based on design changes, material shortages, or equipment issues.
- Drive Turnaround Time Optimization by establishing, monitoring, and improving internal and external turnaround times (TAT) and key performance/quality indicators (KPIs). Work with leadership to identify constraints and implement solutions to improve TAT.
- Drive cost savings, improve quality, minimize inventory write-offs, and integrate new products or improvements into the forecast and production schedule.
- Conduct sales order autopsies to identify and resolve operational delays, providing quarterly reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions to production and product teams
- Develop, own and manage the Master Resource Planning for CRISPRevolution sgRNA GMP and RUO manufacturing operations.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in operations management, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of production planning experience, ideally in a high-throughput pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
- Familiarity with APICS principles and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or similar tools.
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Management
- Proven ability to implement cross-functional process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality output.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience working in a matrix organization and influencing at all levels.
