Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our client's fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will utilize blueprints, hydraulic diagrams, and electrical schematics to assemble equipment. You will be responsible for building and testing products while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and hydraulic and electrical schematics with precision.
Comply with safety rules and practices within the shop and department.
Safely operate various tools and equipment, including grinders, pneumatic tools, and vacuum testers.
Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills
Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems.
Problem-solving skills to address and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Education
High School
Experience
1-4 years
Qualifications
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Basic computer literacy to assist with troubleshooting and reporting.
