Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care Assistance: Provide support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
• Health Monitoring: Regularly track vital signs and promptly report any changes to healthcare providers to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Medication Assistance: Aid in the precise administration of medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to schedules and dosages.
• Nutritional Support: Assist with meal preparation and feeding, catering to any special dietary needs and following established guidelines.
• Activity Engagement: Encourage and facilitate activities that promote physical and emotional development for pediatric patients.
• Family Support: Educate and support family members on effective care techniques and the use of medical equipment, empowering them to provide the best care.
• Documentation: Keep accurate, up-to-date records of care provided and any changes in patient conditions.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Home Health Aide training certificate is necessary.
• Experience: Prior experience in home health care is highly desirable.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with children and families.
• Certifications: Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• Covid Vaccine: Covid vaccination is required.
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the US.
