Bookkeeper

We are offering a full-time, contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper near Schenectady, NY. This role involves managing financial records and ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing credit card reconciliations for multiple construction entities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial records and transactions
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Handle accounts payable and ensure all financial obligations are met in a timely manner
• Oversee accounts receivable to ensure timely receipt of payments
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy
• Utilize bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to keep track of financial transactions
• Enter financial data into appropriate software programs
• Manage month end close processes efficiently
• Use QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
• Perform credit card reconciliations as required.
