This position is responsible for Housing System programming, program development, and leadership of the permanent supported housing programs for young adults. Responsible for community leadership, program integrity, staff growth, budget management, grant management, and developing successful models of housing sustainability for young adults.

This position is responsible for Housing System programming, program development, and leadership of the permanent supported housing programs for young adults. Responsible for community leadership, program integrity, staff growth, budget management, grant management, and developing successful models of housing sustainability for young adults.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision to program staff, including training, program development, staff growth, scheduling, budget management, quality and development of funding resources.
- Plan, assign, and direct work of subordinates; supervise and support program staff including interviewing, hiring, and training; conduct performance appraisals; recognition and provide corrective action to employees; address complaints and resolve problems with participants, partners, and employees. Mentor staff in performance issue resolution.
- Create, maintain and implement policies and procedures for new and existing services. Oversight of tenant selection into housing units and voucher management with Grand Junction Housing Authority.
- Monitor program goals and outcomes and adjust as needed to maximize effectiveness
- Create budgets and ensure budget compliance, ensure grant funds are being spent out appropriately.
- Assist in writing grants and provide grant oversight; ensure all reports are completed in a timely fashion.
- Participate as a member of Extended Leadership and Regional Leadership Teams; actively participate in working effectively with internal and external departments.
- Be familiar with all applicable rules, laws, and regulations related to leasing, tenant rights, eviction, and permanent supported housing.
- Oversee data collection and data collection systems. Report to capital investment company, local, state, and federal agencies. Manage quality data outcomes including verifying data, disseminating results, reporting, and addressing concerns that arise from the data.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 4 years of related work experience in permanent supportive housing projects and/or housing programs, and two years of supervisory experience required, or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field is preferred.
- Specific Housing Systems Training
- Specific property management training related to tenant rights, leasing, and evictions preferred
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License
- Proof of current automobile insurance

- The starting wage range for this role is $28.00-$29.40 per hour.
