We are dedicated to delivering a high-quality, delightful gaming experience and continuously improving the game based on player feedback. As part of that commitment, we're looking for a detail-oriented, player-focused, and experienced Senior UI / UX Artist to join our team on a contract basis.
Position Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Artist, you will bridge both the UX side of design (understanding player motivations, information flows, player perception and psychology) and the UI side of art (graphic design, iconography and style, pixel-perfect layouts, high-fidelity mock-ups). This role involves both improving existing UI and player flows as well as creating new flows based on design specs, best practices, comparative research, and conversations with design, art, and technical teams. Solid verbal, written, and graphical communication are an absolute must.

Position Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Artist, you will bridge both the UX side of design (understanding player motivations, information flows, player perception and psychology) and the UI side of art (graphic design, iconography and style, pixel-perfect layouts, high-fidelity mock-ups). This role involves both improving existing UI and player flows as well as creating new flows based on design specs, best practices, comparative research, and conversations with design, art, and technical teams. Solid verbal, written, and graphical communication are an absolute must.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Fidelity Mockups: Given a design spec or community feedback report, analyze the required flows and create high-fidelity, pixel-perfect mockups in the game’s style using Figma that can be imported into Unity
- Expanded Solutions: Generate 2D flowcharts, state machines, and wireframes where applicable to enable faster iteration and team communication
- Elegant Design: Aim to create modular, consistent templates and components that can be reused throughout the game, minimizing future time creating flows and ensuring ease of updating for engineering, art, and design
- Icons: Style-match our games existing icons and be able to create additional icons quickly and effectively in a vector format
- Receive & Integrate Feedback: Be prepared to integrate feedback from a wide variety of sources, including community, design, engineering, and art; over time, build a knowledgebase of factors that influence UI and UX and integrate them without requiring feedback
- Comparative Research: Be able to analyze a variety of existing games and their solutions to different flows, pulling out best practices and progressive improvements we can utilize
- Controller, Mouse & Keyboard, Touch: Be able to design with multiple input schema in mind, prioritizing consistency and best practices throughout the game experience
- Take Initiative: Be able to advance work without oversight, self-identifying issues and taking action to consistently improve the game and make progress on upcoming tasks
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of current UI in the game so anyone can quickly and effectively look at UX flows for consistency
- Experience with Wireframing Tools and Unity: 3+ years of experience or at least one shipped title using Figma for pixel-perfect flows that can be integrated directly into Unity
- Attention to Detail: A portfolio showing clean, game-ready UI assets and iconography
- Team Player: 5+ years of experience or multiple shipped titles working on a game team as a UI or UX contributor
- Passion for Gaming: A deep love for (and familiarity with) casual games, both mobile and console, particularly Hello Kitty Island Adventure
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and graphical communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and empathy
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to independently investigate and understand underlying issues when reviewing feedback, with a logical approach to problem-solving
