- IT support of Epic modules and other related applications
- Resolve training related issues in real-time with end users
- Provide multi-faceted support and training options
- Complete requested Epic build for local operational requirements
- Differentiate Epic build needs verses training needs
- Troubleshoot and understand end user needs
- Escalate to and partner with Epic analysts for larger build requirements needed for local support
- Test completed Epic build requests for accuracy
- Participate in additional projects as assigned by supervisor
- Work effectively and efficiently as part of a team on assignments. Can work independently on some assignments. Take direction.
- Collaborate with customers, Epic analysts, other IT professionals to meet challenges and coordinate resources to achieve quality outcomes
- Escalate problems and concerns to supervisors
- Develop how-to documentation and workflows for end-users and fellow team members
- Provide on-call support
- Skill in communicating effectively in both oral and written form for the needs of the audience
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and assist with a variety of issues
- Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
- Ability to utilize PC software applications in the creation, analysis and retrieval of data
- Ability to complete independent and thorough research on workflows and technical configuration options
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate and demonstrate system workflows
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in an IT development or healthcare operational support role
- Applications experience in either an application support or implementation role
- Activities involve sitting for prolonged periods of time with extensive work using computer keyboard and monitor and standing/walking for majority of the day.
- Ability to process information and communicate data clearly and succinctly.
