Join our dynamic team at Snowbird Agility as a Proposal Coordinator and embark on a rewarding career where you will be trained to coordinate and write proposals for government contracts. The Proposal Coordinator will play an integral role in the development of high quality, responsive and timely bid documents such as responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Sources Sought Notices, and marketing materials. The Proposal Coordinator will assist in the planning and development of bids, proposals, and/or proposal response documents, and may manage individual projects related to proposals. The Proposal Coordinator will coordinate and schedule meetings, create and manage response documents and databases, and format and produce final proposals.

A successful candidate will be a team player that can deliver high quality work, take initiative, and meet defined deadlines. Candidates must possess and demonstrate strong writing and proof editing skills. Proposal Development Department team members work closely with Departments across the company as well as external partners.

In this full-time position, you will work remotely to our corporate headquarters in Cambridge, Maryland. We are looking for motivated and articulate individuals who can help us communicate our strengths in competitive government bidding processes. This role is ideal for candidates with strong writing abilities and a keen interest in furthering expertise in proposal and grant writing.

Requirements

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and the business development team to gather the necessary information.
  • Edits and revises proposals based on feedback from team members.
  • Develops and captures corporate solutions and processes as part of proposals and Government market research/requests for information.
  • Drafts and reviews proposal templates and proposal materials for clarity, consistency and responsiveness to requirements.
  • Interviews subject matter experts to develop compelling technical content.
  • Coordinates and participates in review sessions to gather internal and external stakeholder feedback on proposals.
  • Coordinates and eventually lead responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Notices.
  • Provides support for proposal artifacts and documents such as resumes, templates, Excel spreadsheets, storyboards, worksheets, outlines, assignment lists, marketing and website blogs, and other deliverables.
  • Compiles and incorporates reviewer feedback into documents.
  • Maintains calendar of internal and external deadlines.
  • Manages documents in SharePoint database.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks based on deadlines.
  • Edits and proofreads documents to ensure proposals are free of mistakes and read in one voice.
  • Provides quality review of proposal materials including formatting, look and feel, grammar and spelling editing, figure and table numbering, etc.
  • Takes and distributes notes and action items, as necessary, to team following calls/meetings.
  • Drafts and edits non-proposal technical documents, as assigned.
  • Designs, formats, edits, and produces documents to have a polished look and feel.
  • Helps develop, maintain, and update baseline content and template documents in proposal database.
  • Supports other tasks as assigned.
  • Contributes to corporate processes and style guide.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Mininum 2 to 4 years of related experience necessary. Additional training will be provided.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Adept at working collaboratively in a team environment and independently with assigned tasks.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe).
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in related field.
