Responsibilities
This position will support the business in the development of new software applications, database analysis and application programming which align with the business goals and objectives, supporting internal and external business partner requirements; standardize the quality assurance procedure for software; oversee testing and resolve software defects; develop and maintain system documentation; investigate and reconcile system and workflow problems; assist in the design, engineering, implementation and support of information systems in business production.
May perform other functions as assigned

Responsibilities
This position will support the business in the development of new software applications, database analysis and application programming which align with the business goals and objectives, supporting internal and external business partner requirements; standardize the quality assurance procedure for software; oversee testing and resolve software defects; develop and maintain system documentation; investigate and reconcile system and workflow problems; assist in the design, engineering, implementation and support of information systems in business production.
- Software Development: Develop, test, implement, and maintain business software applications and databases.
- Code Generation and Modification: Write code according to design specifications; modify existing code for change requests, improvements, or bug fixes.
- Debugging: Identify and correct program errors.
- Testing: Execute unit tests on new code and changes following specified test plans; implement robust test methodologies and automation when applicable.
- Documentation: Clearly document code additions, changes, test procedures, results, and all work performed.
- Data Analysis: Analyze, manage, and manipulate complex data models.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance development approaches and improve product quality; employ quality control checks throughout the development process.
- Collaboration: Work with project managers, users, and IT teams to define project deliverables, including database programming, issue resolution, testing, and implementation.
- Support and Training: Assist in supporting existing applications and provide in-house education for end-user systems as needed.
- System Enhancements: Carry out procedures for handling system changes and enhancements.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and reconcile system and workflow problems.
May perform other functions as assigned
- Technical Skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of programming languages and technologies, including:
- C#, ASP.NET, MVC
- AJAX, Web Services, SOA
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML
- SQL Server, SQL Reporting and Analysis Services, DB2
- Visual Studio, C++
- Data Modeling, Data Management
- Internet Technologies, Web Browsers
- Security and Administration
- Familiarity with software development practices and processes, especially within the Microsoft suite of products and development tools.
- Knowledgeable in the use and support of standard and open-source desktop and server applications.
- Proficient with various computer and communication hardware.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data models and manipulate data effectively.
- Quality Focus: Employ quality control checks and robust testing methodologies throughout development.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Adaptability: Proper use of tools, including AI models, while maintaining necessary thought processes and innovation in software development.
- Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related fields
