We are seeking a Visual Designer to join our team based in Milford, Connecticut. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and executing designs for various national-level projects. We are seeking a Visual Designer to join our team based in Milford, Connecticut. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and executing designs for various national-level projects. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity that involves hands-on work, managing individual projects, and producing high-quality visual designs.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop visual designs from concept to execution.
- Manage individual projects, ensuring timely completion and high quality.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and AutoCAD to create designs.
- Work on larger format designs, focusing on experiential design outcomes.
- Maintain a high level of design capability to meet the needs of well-known clients.
- Handle one project at a time, ensuring focus and dedication to each task.
- Play a role in larger projects that require an all-hands-on deck approach.
- Create art concepts and follow them all the way through to completion.
- Work on brand awareness and digital advertisements.
- Utilize drawing skills to create visually appealing designs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with AutoCAD software
- Ability to create engaging advertisements for various platforms
- Familiarity with AP Style writing
- Proven experience in increasing brand awareness
- Strong digital design skills
- Excellent drawing abilities
- Ability to collaborate with team members and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics and visual details
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field is a plus
