The Procurement Analyst is responsible for the procurement workflow coordination in Product Life Cycle Management/Product Development Management process. The position has responsibility for maintaining the procurement master data in ERP systems, including the maintenance of direct materials purchasing contracts and price lists, maintenance and monitoring of purchase order approval workflow with SAP, and vendor additions and change requests in Fiori.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the purchasing lead for master data creation and maintenance in SAP; coordinates contract and source list creation and maintenance with both corporate purchasing team and local material planners on a regular basis; conducts routine checks to ensure data freshness and accuracy.
  • Coordinates re-formulation and new product development process with Packaging and Ingredient Category Managers within PLM/PDM process.
  • Maintains supplier, pricing, and material master data in ERP systems (SAP).
  • Leads data collection from internal buyers and external suppliers to support PLM/PDM process for new product launch, innovation and on-going maintenance in procurement operations area.
  • Manages changes and updates to SAP Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order workflow approvals.
  • Manages vendor master additions and change requests in Fiori.
  • Assists and leads other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, Finance or other related field required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred;
  • 3+ years of experience in data management, preferably with a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
  • Working experience with SAP and/or Fiori is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment required
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy required
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete tasks/projects or resolve an organizational challenge required
  • Working experience with SAP and/or Fiori is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) required
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results
  • Excellent communication skills (formal and informal) with business acumen and ability to communicate within all levels of the organization, setting a tone of working in partnership and collaboration
  • Occasional travel to business meetings may be required
