IT Director

We are seeking a dynamic IT Director to lead our company's technology operations and strategy. Reporting directly to the Sr. VP of Accounting and IT, this pivotal role manages our entire IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of technology with our business goals. The IT Director will oversee the development and maintenance of our network systems, collaborate with department heads and external partners, and push forward innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs. This position offers a prime opportunity to shape the technological future of our organization, ensuring operational excellence across the board.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and manage the IT staff, ensuring high levels of team performance and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of IT projects that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage the company's technology infrastructure including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Partner with external IT firms to enhance infrastructure, focusing on system security and data communication strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate IT operational costs, systems performance metrics, and technology upgrade needs.
  • Lead daily IT operations, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key IT vendors, negotiating services and managing contracts to meet business needs.
  • Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of corporate data by implementing up-to-date security frameworks and compliance protocols.
  • Drive IT innovation to enhance productivity and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services across the organization.
  • Manage and oversee IT budget, resource allocation, and project prioritization.
  • Ensure effective communication and quick resolution of IT issues, maintaining operational excellence.
  • Supervise the development and management of company IT inventory, ensuring accountability and optimal utilization.

Minimum Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an IT managerial role with a solid track record of managing technology operations.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in IT systems, infrastructure management, and network administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and various IT systems and databases.
  • Exceptional ability to lead and develop an IT team, managing diverse and dynamic projects.
  • Strong experience in strategic planning and execution of IT projects.
  • Proficiency in handling IT operations including data security measures and IT infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or specialized IT certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL).
  • Experience in cloud computing technologies and modern enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing comprehensive IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong experience in budget management and resource allocation for IT departments.
  • Excellent vendor management skills, with ability to negotiate and manage outsourcing agreements.
  • Prior experience in regulatory compliance and information security management.
