American Building Supply (ABS) , a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Facility Maintenance to assist our Distribution Division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Position Responsibility:
- Works on new installations of all power, lights, compressors, control panels, electrical service and powered industrial equipment
- Electrical repairs and troubleshooting throughout facility
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance tasks including overhaul and repair of machines, panels and conveyors
- Maintains logs of both preventative and routine maintenance as required
- Assists with various new or remodel commercial construction projects
- Other miscellaneous maintenance and construction projects as necessary
- Strong mechanical aptitude a must
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude a must
- Able to work without assistance and direction in performing duties
- Must be able to climb ladders and perform overhead work
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
