MBM is interested in developing its attorneys to practice at the highest levels, and the firm is in a growth mode. Our associates have the ability to delve into cases and contribute in meaningful ways from the moment they join the firm, and we encourage and support participation in industry and professional organizations so that our attorneys can pursue and attain their personal career objectives. As a litigation associate, you will assist the firm's principals and senior litigation associates in all facets of litigation, including construction defect, land use and zoning, condominium phasing rights disputes, and the like. Our ideal candidate will have the ability and experience to draft and argue motions, undertake legal research, take depositions, conduct written discovery, represent clients in court and other proceedings, and provide legal support for various cases.

What You Will Bring

A candidate with 5+ years of litigation experience in the real estate sector is strongly preferred. In addition, we seek an attorney with the following credentials/skills:

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (additional admissions considered a benefit)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to independently analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic counsel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with court procedures and the litigation process, including demonstrated practice before the Massachusetts Superior Courts or Land Court
