Key Responsibilities
- Supervise multiple projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
- Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, specifically regarding FERC Section 7 and Third-party EIS requirements.
- Facilitate coordination with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, legal professionals, and GIS analysts.
- Communicate transparently with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure successful outcomes.
- Engage in business development activities and represent the company at industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold project standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental licensing and permitting for pipelines.
- Strong expertise in FERC regulations and federal environmental statutes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated individual with strong organizational acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipeline projects.
- Professional certifications are considered an asset.
