What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, tests, and other services
• Handle incoming calls, follow-up and referral work queues, and ticket scheduling
• Accurately enter data into the electronic health record while communicating with patients
• Coordinate the scheduling of services for patients, including ancillary and procedure scheduling
• Collaborate with a care team to provide optimal customer service and clinical outcomes
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical healthcare experience, or 1 year as a Patient Scheduler I, or 1 year in a contact/call center
• Ability to effectively manage a high-call volume environment
• Proficient in data entry and maintaining detailed records
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams
• Must be available for scheduled work shifts
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Population Management or Chronic Disease Management initiatives
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Previous experience in a healthcare scheduling role
• Ability to handle multiple service lines and complex scheduling requirements
