PURPOSE

Regional director-level lead for Real Estate, responsible for managing the acquisition and disposition of real property. This role is focused on achieving specific real estate objectives including footprint reduction, cash inflows for dispositions and reduction in property-related operating expenses. Additionally, the role is also a key champion for carbon-neutral initiatives involving the real estate portfolio.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Manage from start to finish the process to dispose and acquire real property
  • Identify and drive projects that help to deliver on real estate key performance indicators including cash-in from dispositions, property-related operating costs reduction, elimination of CO2 emissions and building surface (footprint) reduction
  • Advise the business operations teams in the development of the business case proposals for real estate decisions
  • Act as the champion for real estate projects that support the real estate KPIs and provide oversight in the preparation for the Real Estate Committees
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive project success across all aspects of the business, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication between departments
  • Collect and process the requests coming from sites/countries/business assessing the proposals, outlining the requirements and validating the needs with the involved stakeholders
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to top management, providing insights and updates on project progress, key milestones, and recommendations
  • Manage the relationship and direction of the third-party broker advisors
  • Propose and push projects in the regions in coherence with the Corporate RE and stakeholders shared want-to-be (W2Bs)
  • Support Campus development/redevelopment in the assigned perimeter

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of the Real Estate industry, automotive industry, trends and risks
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to manage key stakeholders in the top management of the Company
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and social skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Resilient, optimistic and open to change
  • Confident and assertive
  • Self-motivated, able to work well under pressure and with massive autonomy
  • Strong orientation towards remote management of working activities
  • Availability for business trips

Basic Qualifications

  • Business or Finance degree required
  • Minimum 10 years experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience in business planning and strategy
