The Franchise Development Representative (FDR) play s a pivotal role in our growth strategy by sourcing and qualifying potential franchise owners. In this position, you serve as the primary point of contact with prospects, leveraging your solid understanding of the franchise sales process to excel in lead qualification, establish rapport, and build relationships. Your key responsibilities include preparing Franchise Development Managers (FDMs) for successful deal closures.

Responsibilities: 

  • Represent the company’s home services franchise brands, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how owning a franchise business meets a prospect’s needs and goals.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and adeptly move them through defined stages of the sales process and into introductory prospect meetings for FDMs.
  • Partners with the Director, Franchise Development to continually improve strategy to better attract qualified leads and move them through the pipeline.
  • Build relationships by nurturing warm prospects generated by marketing-driven leads and through franchise broker networks and also to develop potential new franchise owners through prospecting activities.
  • Develop and employ best practices for refining and optimizing the company’s lead-generation tactics and strategy.
  • Consistently utilize HubSpot for accurately documenting all sales activity including contact and deal management, phone calls, SMS, and email to generate new opportunities.
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify them as viable opportunities for FDMs.
  • Proactively seek new qualified prospects in available and targeted markets for franchise brands.
  • Pre-qualify and schedule meetings between prospective franchise owners and FDMs.
  • Consistently meet established KPIs and goals and communicate challenges in a timely manner to the Director, Franchise Development.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in sales lead development, with a track record of exceeding quality lead targets.
  • Polished written and oral communication skills, with the ability to quickly ‘connect’ with prospects and develop rapport.
  • Resourcefulness with proven problem-solving and analytical skills . Must be capable of developing solutions to everyday challenges and know when to ask for assistance .
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to effectively manage a high volume of tasks daily and maintain timely communication with prospects.
