Job Overview

Jans Corporation is seeking skilled and experienced Rough Carpenters to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have carpentry experience and experience working with various building materials. As a Rough Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Pay: Ranging from $20 - $25 per hour, based on experience.

Hours: A typical work day is Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines - overtime may be required as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial construction is preferred
• Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Must be willing to do inside and outside work
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be available for some travel outside of Sioux Falls (about 20%)
• Physical endurance to complete the necessary tasks
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
