Job Summary
LHH recruitment solutions is in search of an accomplished Project Manager for a growing client of ours in the food and beverage industry. The Project Manager, Technical Services, will be responsible for overseeing the complete project lifecycle for assigned initiatives, managing projects from initiation through to successful completion. This role requires setting up projects in the designated workflow tool, coordinating cross-functional partners, and ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule. The Project Manager will drive diverse projects, such as innovation, cost savings, production facility improvements, and software enhancements, while adhering to established project governance protocols.
This is a remote, contract role, last at least 3 months with a strong chance of going permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Type: Remote (Must work Pacific Timezone hours)
Duration: 3-Months Minimum with possibility of converting to permanent
Compensation: $40-50/hr

Key Responsibilities
- Project Governance and Coordination
- Adhere to company-defined project governance practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Manage a range of project types, including innovation, cost savings, production facility upgrades, and technical improvements.
- Project Planning
- Define clear project objectives and scope.
- Identify key stakeholders and develop detailed project charters.
- Create comprehensive project management plans, detailing scope, schedule, budget, quality, communication, risk, and resource plans.
- Develop risk management strategies and obtain all necessary project approvals.
- Project Execution
- Work closely with project leaders to drive execution, ensuring project processes are implemented as planned.
- Distribute updates and relevant information to stakeholders, managing their expectations.
- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project momentum and alignment.
- Monitoring and Controlling
- Track project performance and progress to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Manage and verify any adjustments to project scope, schedule, or budget as needed.
- Continuously monitor risks, implementing necessary controls to safeguard project outcomes.
- Ensure that deliverables meet the organization’s quality standards and oversee procurement activities, if required.
- Project Closing
- Secure formal acceptance of project deliverables from stakeholders.
- Finalize all contractual and administrative requirements.
- Conduct post-project reviews to gather insights and document lessons learned.
- Archive project records and relevant documentation for future reference.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field required.
- Certifications: Active PMP certification
- Experience: 7+ years in Quality, Technical Services, R&D, or related fields, with a successful track record in managing innovation projects.
- Technical Skills: Advanced project management expertise, demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the Food and Beverage industry.
- Additional Expertise: Experience in intellectual property development and protection is preferred.
