Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc (AMA) is looking for an intern to provide Wind Tunnel Support and Code Development at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton, VA. The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate engineering (or a related field) student. This individual will provide support in the writing of PLC software for wind tunnel operations, the creation of a graphic user interface for compressible flow and heat transfer engineering codes, and general laboratory support for hypersonic wind tunnel characterization and operations. Depending upon current tasking, the intern will utilize tools such as Python and MATLAB for feasibility studies, user interface testing and design, data analysis, and algorithm design and testing.
This is an onsite position at NASA LaRC in Hampton, VA for 4 weeks over Christmas holiday timeframe, and continue for 10 weeks into the Spring Semester.

Requirements
- Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field of study.
- Familiarity with PLC software through classwork or projects.
- Familiarity with Python and MATLAB.
