Job Description

The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies across both digital and traditional channels to drive sales of our products and services, enhance brand awareness, and deepen customer engagement.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, be committed to detail, and have exceptional communication skills. The Marketing Specialist will also be expected to utilize critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity to improve our brand strategies to drive business results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and deployment of omni-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the development and deployment of both internal and external marketing communications and/or programs.
  • Implement and manage omni-channel marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives, utilizing both digital and traditional channels.
  • Support content development for various marketing materials including website, social, email, digital advertising, store merchandising, print collateral, and event marketing.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate marketing activities with internal/external teams and vendors to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain online listings, e.g., Yelp, and manage online reputation to ensure brand consistency and a positive customer experience.
  • Facilitate key operational tasks, such as coordinating the approvals of marketing assets, and organizing, updating, and distributing collateral both internally and externally.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of applicable regulations and laws including but not limited to; Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy; and Fair Lending. Maintain an up to date understanding of bank policies and procedures as they relate to compliance.
  • Effectively manage relationships with external marketing agencies, working collaboratively to deliver compelling results.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners across Banking, Operations, Business Banking, Finance, People Team, Technology, and Risk.
  • Author marketing briefs for our marketing partners in the development of marketing campaigns
  • Involvement in community organizations and volunteerism, professionally representing the Bank.


Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing experience within an agency or business environment
  • Strong ability to develop collaborative relationships with multiple partners from executive to junior levels.
  • Equally analytical, creative, detail-oriented, and organized
  • A proactive problem solver
  • Ability to react quickly to new information and adjust plans accordingly
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Experience utilizing data and measurement to inform decision making.
  • Proficiency in marketing channels/tools including Microsoft Office suite, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, analytics tools, etc. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and graphic design software a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to edit/proofread for grammar and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
