VP of Marketing, Demand Generation

Intrado is looking to add a VP, Marketing to join our team.
As the VP of Marketing, you will lead our growth efforts and drive measurable results. In this role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of high-impact demand generation programs across various channels. Working closely with sales, product, and other cross-functional teams, you will create targeted strategies to increase lead acquisition, engagement, and conversion, maximizing revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Generation Strategy:
- Develop, implement, and optimize demand generation strategies that align with business goals and drive growth across all stages of the sales funnel
- Establish and manage KPIs to monitor and improve campaign performance, ensuring alignment with business and revenue targets
- Campaign Management:
- Oversee PR and media relations to elevate Intrado’s industry profile, positioning the company as a thought leader, which includes leading advocacy initiatives and cultivating relationships with key industry associations and regulatory bodies
- Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, digital advertising, social media, content marketing, webinars, and events
- Manage the marketing automation platforms and CRM to maximize lead nurturing, scoring, and segmentation strategies
- Collaborate with product teams to create compelling value propositions, messaging, and offers that resonate with target audiences
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a data-driven and results-oriented culture while excelling at coaching and mentoring talent to ensure alignment with both product and business objectives, driving team success and growth
- Fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
- Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and implement professional development plans to ensure team members meet both individual and team goals
- Sales Alignment & Enablement:
- Work closely with sales leadership to align demand generation efforts with sales goals, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-quality leads
- Develop and maintain a strong feedback loop with the sales team to refine lead scoring, routing, and follow-up processes
- Data-Driven Insights:
- Utilize data and analytics to optimize and improve marketing performance, implementing A/B testing and other methods to increase ROI
- Leverage marketing automation, analytics, and data to track and optimize campaign performance
- Report on performance metrics to the executive team, highlighting insights, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- MBA preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, with a proven track record of driving measurable growth
- 7+ years of experience in a marketing leadership position
- Marketing leader with experience in the telecommunications, public safety, or emergency services industry strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performance teams
- Analytical mindset with expertise in using data to guide decision-making and optimize performance
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales and product teams
- Experience marketing complex, technology-driven products to businesses and government entities strongly preferred
- Proven track record of building and executing demand generation strategies that drive measurable business results, such as lead generation and customer acquisition
- Ideal candidates will have experience in shaping product positioning, crafting effective messaging, and driving market differentiation
- Experience equipping sales teams with the tools and content they need to close deals, such as case studies, product sheets, and competitive insights
- Experience developing and maintaining a strong, differentiated brand identity
- Experience developing targeted marketing strategies for different segments of the market, including carriers, Enterprise, PSAPs, and other emergency service stakeholders
- Experienced in executing successful product launches, ensuring marketing efforts are tightly aligned with product development timelines and sales readiness
- Experience working in a private equity-owned environment, where efficiency, metrics, and return on investment (ROI) are critical
