Job Description
As our first Partnerships Director, you will be responsible for developing and managing our partner ecosystem to drive partner-generated revenue through strategic alliances, including tech, referral, and Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partnerships. You will build and optimize a partner program from the ground up, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver value, grow revenue, and expand our reach.

The ideal candidate is a process-driven, detail-oriented professional with proven experience in building and scaling a partnership program for a SaaS company. You bring an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong operational mindset, ensuring our partnerships are well-managed, impactful, and aligned with our revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities


  • Strategy & Program Development:

    • Design and implement a comprehensive partnership program, focusing on key revenue-driving partnerships (tech, referral, VAR).

    • Develop partner segmentation strategies, incentives, and support structures to attract, retain, and grow high-value partners.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success) to align partner strategies with company goals.

    • Eventually recruit, hire, onboard and manage additional team members to support the adopted structure.





  • Revenue Growth & Management:

    • Drive partner-related revenue growth, setting and managing revenue targets in partnership with the CRO with a keen focus on scalability.

    • Build operational processes and tracking systems to measure and report on partner program success, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.

    • Provide regular performance insights, KPIs, and metrics to executive leadership to showcase partnership impact.





  • Partner Enablement & Relationship Management:

    • Onboard, train, and support partners to ensure alignment with our value proposition and success in achieving shared goals.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for key partners, developing trusted relationships and proactively resolving any issues or roadblocks.

    • Organize and participate in joint business planning sessions with partners to align on goals and tactics for success.





  • Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure programmatic, repeatable processes are in place to drive operational efficiency across all partner types.

    • Build and manage documentation, contracts, and compliance processes to support partner-related activities.

    • Develop and implement best practices for partner communication, training, reporting, and incentives to foster a results-driven partner ecosystem.







Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development, with at least 3 years in a SaaS company.

    • Proven track record of building and scaling partnership programs, preferably at a growth-stage or mid-sized SaaS company.

    • Experience with multiple partner types (tech, referral, VAR) and a deep understanding of how to tailor engagement strategies for each.

    • Strong strategic and operational skills with a focus on process optimization and execution.

    • Demonstrated success in setting and exceeding revenue targets within a partnership framework.

    • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate internal and external stakeholders.

    • A data-driven mindset with a high degree of proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, or similar).

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus).






  • Preferred Experience

    • Direct experience working with Financial Service Institutions, including Community Banks, Credit Unions, and the partners and associations serving them

    • Experience with data warehouse and analytics solutions
