How You'll Make An Impact
Drafts, analyzes, and review plans by client specifications. Responsible for ensuring that the plans drawn are in compliance with safety building codes and meet the necessary compliance. Generates CAD models using AutoCAD software, finalizes, and prepares models agency/client submission. Additional duties include: Managing projects, interfacing with clients, submitting plans to governing authorities, and/or engineers as required, and completing required activity reports. Performs related research as needed.
About You
Required: Degree in engineering, computer science, architectural studies or commensurate experience. Knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, architecture, state safety, and structure regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Strong MS Office skills.
Preferred: Degree in architecture or construction management desirable. Experience in design preferred.
Behaviors: Keen eye for aesthetics and detail. Effective communication skills.
