Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer (Docker/Kubernetes Specialist) to join our team for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing Docker and Kubernetes clusters in an on-premises environment. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain an on-premises Docker/Kubernetes cluster to support GenAI solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the Docker/Kubernetes environment with existing infrastructure
  • Optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Implement best practices for container management, including security, networking, and resource allocation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Docker and Kubernetes deployments
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in containerization technologies and recommend improvements

Some Must-Haves:

  • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on containerization technologies
  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in an on-premises environment
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking
  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with best practices for Docker image creation, storage, and deployment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation Package (Salary Transparency for US Based Employees)

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000+
    • Salary is negotiable and the range can be increased based on qualifications, certifications and experience

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
