As a Sr. Director - Innovation, you are a senior-level executive responsible for incubating new innovation opportunities for RealPage. You will lead opportunity identification, prioritization, planning (business case and operational plan development), initial product design & development, and piloting. As the opportunity/product is validated and is ready for scaling, you will be jointly responsible for transferring ownership to the relevant business unit. You will report to the SVP of Strategy.

May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee deliverables and formulate solutions using subject matter expertise
- Establish overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given line of business
- Articulate innovation strategy and define objectives and measures aligned with overall company goals that add value to stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D and the rest of the organization to incubate new innovative projects that we want to take to market. This will include:
- Product design
- Business case refinement
- Business and produce development to the point of pilots & initial scaling
- Market testing and customer feedback
- Lead the innovation pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of projects from ideation to implementation
- Represent a process or product and provide updates to EMC, Board and Executive Leadership
- Oversee resources, budget and financial progress
- Promote innovation culture by sharing best practices and identifying opportunities
- Establish metrics for measuring innovation success.
- Maintain current knowledge of market trends and technologies, and advise management on effectively using emerging technology to achieve business objectives
- 12+ years domain experience, including product management and innovation experience
- 5+ years management and strategy experience
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Deep technical understanding of software/ML product development
