Core Technology Intern
Job Description:
Support MACOM’s Core Technology team supporting semiconductor process technology, SPICE modeling, and product design/debug
Specific Responsibilities:
> Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
> Gain hands on experience
> Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
> Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
> Attend networking/social events
> Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
> Receive formal, written feedback

Core Technology Intern
Job Description:
Support MACOM’s Core Technology team supporting semiconductor process technology, SPICE modeling, and product design/debug
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support semiconductor process technology (e.g. support designers and interface with foundries as necessary)
- Support SPICE models and simulation
- Assist designers with product debug through activities like data analysis and microprobing
> Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
> Gain hands on experience
> Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
> Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
> Attend networking/social events
> Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
> Receive formal, written feedback
Qualifications/Skills:
- Candidate must be presently pursuing BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Semiconductor device physics for both CMOS and BiCMOS process technologies
- SPICE modeling and simulation
- Probe level silicon device measurements
- Analog circuit design with Cadence Virtuoso
- Linux command line interface and scripting
- MS Excel and VBA macros
