We are seeking a skilled and passionate Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic and agile team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and implementing innovative Salesforce solutions that enhance our customers business processes and drive efficiency. You will collaborate closely with product owners, administrators, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our evolving needs. This role demands a proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality solutions.

This is a fully remote, full-time position.

  • Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilties

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Collaborate with agile and product teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and web services.
  • Create and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain custom Salesforce integrations with other enterprise applications.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and other enterprise platforms through APIs.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing Salesforce implementations to enhance system performance.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions are aligned with best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives within an agile framework.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support Service Cloud features and ensure smooth customer service operations.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, adhering to Salesforce best practices.
  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and stability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases and technologies
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

Collaboration And Communication

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Foster open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
  • Act as one of the point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and development teams.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including product managers, executives, and customers, to keep them informed of progress and address any concerns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the seamless integration of technologies and solutions.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address complex challenges and foster innovation.

Qualifications And Skills

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered a plus.

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant-time

Experience

  • 3-6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce Lightning.
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of Service Cloud features and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control tools (e.g., Git), and Salesforce DX.
  • Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs and web services for system integration.
  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional product teams.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform limits, governor limits, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system bugs and performance issues quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Technological Proficiency

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages and web technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Slack, and Confluence.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, finance, or government sectors is advantageous.

All work must be conducted within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories. Some federal & state contracts require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment.

You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.

As the US Government and State government is our clientele, you may be required to obtain a public trust or security clearance.

Some of our available roles are on federal & state contracts that require a degree or additional years of experience as a substitute.
