Job Summary:

The Engineering Technician IV will support photolithography semiconductor manufacturing equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance at client sites. The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a pre-production environment. This role is primarily based in Hillsboro, Oregon, and requires training for 1-3 months in either Austin, TX, or Hillsboro, OR.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service equipment within factory standard specifications.
• Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Serve as a liaison between the company and customers for assigned projects.
• Perform complex maintenance and repairs independently or in collaboration with others.
• Provide technical support to customers, minimizing downtime.
• Identify and report equipment errors to aid in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Document activities and prepare periodic reports.
• Conduct training for customer personnel.
• Collaborate with other technicians in the field to troubleshoot and service equipment.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical training (military or technical school).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on experience with electronic testing tools and mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of the Linux OS for operating and troubleshooting the system.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently on equipment and collaborate effectively with engineers.
