Key Responsibilities Of a Class Teacher
- As a Class Teacher you will plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect.
- As a Class Teacher you will assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instructional decisions.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students and provide additional support or challenge as needed.
- As a Class Teacher you will collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with experience across multiple year groups (ECT's encouraged to apply!).
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
