Design Engineer
Note: The client is open to any similar or past experience; they will train.
Duties Assigned To The Position
Education: Normally, graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Physics required, or equivalent education, training, or experience.
Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform the above functions. 2+ years of Engineering experience in areas applicable to job duties.

Duties Assigned To The Position
- Provides sustaining magnetic design engineering support for existing products.
- Designs and develops new magnetic products.
- Self-supporting coil design
- Power, pulse, and flyback transformer design.
- Basic circuit knowledge
- Creates designs, giving weighted consideration to such design factors as correct functioning, availability of materials, ease of manufacture, serviceability and replace ability, cost and design trends.
- Checks design components, details and specifications and do technical research, investigation and reporting.
- Develops basic design data, sketches and notes necessary to prepare the design preparational for layout in detail on a computer.
- Direct production of drawings on approved designs as necessary for shop fabrication of prototype and production.
- Gives engineering direction to construction of simulation models and prototypes.
- Determines and outlines testing program and directs testing required for development and proving of a design.
