Consor is looking for Structures Representatives to support the growth of our Construction Services Group. The positions are located in Southern California (Riverside County). If you join our team, you will work with a team of internal and external staff, including other construction inspectors, managers, and documentation specialists. Salary Range: $160,000 to $190,000+ a year

What You'll Do:

  • Lead field inspection duties and be in regular communication with Consor construction project managers on bridge inspection projects
  • Coordinate with both internal and external staff team members, including construction project managers, other field inspectors, quality control technicians, and documentation specialists
  • Coordinate closely with project stakeholders, including the client, construction contractor, utilities, and the public
  • Construction inspection experience in construction including roadway, transportation, bridges, transit and rail, or other infrastructure projects which demonstrates the ability to perform the work
  • Document quality and quantity of materials installed on a continuous basis
  • Perform all other daily bridge construction inspection duties
  • Must be able to flourish in a team dynamic

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of six (6) years of bridge and/or structural construction inspection as related to major public works projects and a four-year degree in civil engineering
  • A minimum or four (4) years as a Structural Representative on major public works projects.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California
  • Knowledge of stress analysis, structural mechanics, and strength of materials.
  • A thorough understanding of Cal-OSHA practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and the physical characteristics and properties of various bridge construction materials including concrete.
  • Experience in the following areas: foundations, pile driving and CIDH piles, concrete prestressing, bridge deck construction, cast-in-place wall construction, falsework, and shoring.
