Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Data Manager to lead our Data Management Services team in Irving, Texas.

The Manager of Data Management is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s data management strategy, ensuring the effective collection, storage, and utilization of data. This role involves leading a team of data professionals, developing data policies and procedures, and ensuring data quality and security. The resource will work closely with various departments to support data-driven decision-making and drive the organization’s data initiatives.
The Manager of Data Management role is based in Irving, Texas, and reports directly to the Director of Data Management & Governance.

The Manager of Data Management role is based in Irving, Texas, and reports directly to the Director of Data Management & Governance.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage the data management team, providing guidance and support.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data-related regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement data quality standards and metrics.
- Monitor and improve data quality across the organization.
- Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to align data management initiatives with organizational goals.
- Communicate data management policies and procedures to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely data analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain data dashboards and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities for improving data management practices and implement best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing data management teams.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies.
