Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School is Pre-K to 6th grade. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC). We are excited to see the continued growth of our school, and as a result, we will need more teachers to join our family! We are currently looking for a Pre-k teacher to join us for this 2024-2025 academic year. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHER - Seeking 1 full time preschool teacher. - Have experience developing curriculum/class activities, lesson planning and managing a class. - Must be able to communicate effectively with parents and provide positive, constructive feedback on their child's day/progress in the program. - Energetic, positive, cheerful, nurturing, creative teacher who is able to multi-task. - Flexible to the needs of the school, the classroom, students and co-teachers. - Team player able to work closely with other staff. REQUIREMENTS - Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education units (or 9 ECE units and working toward more ECE units) - Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a plus - Experience working with children ages 3-5 years old - Experience developing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for a group of up to 20 children (1:10 ratio) - Must be able to work 8:15-3:15 pm - Must have reliable transportation to/from work
