Looking for an inspiring and capable leader to be a plant manager of a production site that will have over $250M future capital investments over the next 3 years, with one of the largest investments in Solenis. The site produces various products for the Paper, Pulp, and Water industries, with large growth in revenue currently happening in the company.

The Plant Manager Will Be Responsible For

  • Guiding a direct staff of 8 professionals, including EH&S, Maintenance, Quality, Production, Logistics, Engineering and Facilities.
  • Responsibility for the total population of the site of 130 people.
  • Overseeing a budget of over $25M in fixed costs.
  • Managing capital budget of $22M in 2025, growing to $200M in next 2 years.
  • Responsibility of all plant operations and assets.
  • Driving On Time and In Full-service levels at 95% and better.
  • Ensuring the facility is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Solenis policies and procedures.
  • Representing the company to all regulatory official auditors.
  • Act as company liaison with local, state and federal regulatory agencies as well as community agencies.
  • Managing all cross functional relations with the site, including commercial sales, product management, quality, regulatory, R&D, Process Technology, and corporate management.

Additional Responsibilities Will Include

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial and local regulations and Solenis policies and procedures consistent with all PSM requirements.
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of all EH&S programs and RC14001 compliance at the site
  • Maintain manufacturing processes, packaging, raw material and finished product inventory within set guidelines while maintaining required customer service levels
  • Implement new process technology at the site
  • Implement Quality programs including ISO registration, maintenance, and improvement plans, standardized best practice in quality control, etc.
  • Manage implementation of annual goal setting and performance appraisal process, people development and training
  • Collaborate with the NA Supply Chain leader to shape the manufacturing strategic plan, ensuring it aligns with and supports the company's commercial growth plans
  • Maintain site assets and optimize equipment life cycle

Qualifications

  • BS Technical Degree (Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience in a chemical operation
  • Strong communication, nurturing leadership, people development, and collaborative decision-making skills
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
