Lead Electrical Controls Designer

Salary: Up to $130,000 per year

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) from scratch tailored specifically to meet machinery requirements.
• Expertly program both PLCs and HMIs from inception to final implementation for diverse machinery needs.
• Utilize and master Ladder Logic programming to enhance device functionalities and operational efficiency.
• Create detailed and accurate electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical to ensure smooth execution of design plans.
• Conduct and oversee all stages of project design to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain continual communication with team members and departments to ensure a coordinated approach to project completions.
  
  

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience in designing electrical controls from scratch.
• Five years of proven track record in programming PLCs and HMIs for various machinery.
• A minimum of two years experience in Ladder Logic programming.
• At least two years handed-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Solid work history showing dedication and consistency in past roles.
• Must be a United States citizen or hold a Green Card.
• Ability to work onsite, with a residence within a 45-minute drive of our Waukesha, Wisconsin location.
