We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at ICAT. This role will be based in Broomfield, CO. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Claims Assistant provides a full range of claims support and customer service for all of Boulder Claim’s operations. The Claims Assistant is responsible for entering new claims, processing claims, providing a free flow of business-critical information including research, reports and project management support. The Claims Assistant will also provide a full range of administrative and clerical support to all company personnel. The Claims Assistant will comply with all claims policy and procedural requirements. The Claims Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all personnel, customers, vendors, and business partners.

We will count on you to:

  • Take incoming/outgoing calls, entering/processing/filing claims within the claims systems, including routine letters of acknowledgment, status, and denial.
  • Reconciles claims files, claims payments, and billing statements and prepares standard summary reports. Researches and resolves claim payment discrepancies and assembles all supporting documentation as needed.
  • Reconciles claim payments and supports the preparation of standard and ad hoc management reports through information verification, proofreading, assembly, and other related activities.
  • Updates claim forms and procedural manuals, organizes files, researches, and follows up on customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Provides clerical/administrative support which includes drafting Claim Department procedures and processes, composes and prepares routine correspondence and presentations, compiles and prepares reports.
  • Collects, sorts, distributes, and prioritizes correspondence, and business client’s requests. Schedules and coordinates meetings and maintains calendar.

What you need to have:

  • Proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Customer service experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be flexible to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

The applicable base salary range for this role is $35,300 to $75,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
