Event Assistant

Department: Mark Rink

Location: Beaumont, TX

Compensation: $17.25 - $24.00 / hour

• Assist in planning and coordinating events, including meetings, conferences, trade shows, and corporate parties.


• Handle logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.


• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure event materials and services.


• Help manage event registrations and attendee lists, ensuring accurate and timely responses.


• Coordinate with the event team to create and distribute event materials such as programs, invitations, and signage.


• Assist in the execution of event schedules and ensure activities are running on time.


• Provide on-site support during events, including troubleshooting issues and responding to guest needs.


• Manage inventory of event supplies and order additional items when necessary.


• Assist in gathering feedback from attendees for event evaluations and reports.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred).


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.


• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
