Legal Analyst

The Legal Analyst coordinates and oversees legal programs such as claims, insurance contracts and the licensure process to ensure the organization is compliant. Gathers and analyzes data required to complete all related applications and submit information timely. Maintains all legal files relating to licensure and insurance to store all records. Manages medical records requests and subpoenas, including responding to subpoenas from non-prosecutors. Provides support to the legal department including preparing and proofreading legal documents and recording/transcribing minutes, as well as other administrative duties as needed.

Position Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field, or equivalent in education and experience, required
  • Master's Degree in relevant field, preferred

Experience

  • 3 years of related experience within a legal department or comparable experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, have strong organizational skills, and be detail oriented
