The Sylvan Learning Center in Lawrence is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to inspire and help our students achieve academic excellence.
We are currently accepting applications for Beginning Reading (Pre-K-2nd) Teachers.
When is the last time you had a chance to really make a difference with your students? We value your input on each student and we need your expertise to help our students be successful.
It's JUST TEACHING - NO LESSON PLANNING!
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Available Instructional Hours (regular hours all year):
Monday-Thursday 4:30-7:30
Saturday 9:30-12:30
June 3rd-August 3rd 2024 added Instructional Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:30-12:30 (mornings)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Teaching Credential (current or expired)
- A strong background in phonics, phonemic awareness, and comprehension
- Experience with early learners
- Comfortable using manipulatives and other materials to supplement instruction
