Position Title: Social Media & Communications Specialist (Remote)

What You'll Do
In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for managing and enhancing our social media presence while also contributing to internal and external communications.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Develop and implement social media strategies focused on visual content that aligns with our business objectives.
Create, edit, and produce high-quality video and photo content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more.
Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent posting schedules and active engagement with followers.
Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and reach.
Video Production and Photography
Plan, script, shoot, and edit videos and photos for social media, marketing campaigns, and special projects, such as events and newsletters.
Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually compelling content that reflects our brand messaging.
Stay up-to-date with trends in video production, photography, and software to keep content fresh and innovative.
Manage video and photography equipment to ensure the highest quality output.
Internal Communications
Help with internal communications, including creating newsletters, videos, and other content for both the team and clients.
Maintain a photo and video library to be used for meetings and social media.
Marketplace and New Hire Communications
Create personalized communications, including letters and welcome packets, for new hires and promotions.
Special Projects
Assist with various special projects, such as employee recognition programs and company events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Film/Video Production, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in social media management, public relations, video production, and photography.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and photography tools.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once.
Key Skills
Strong visual storytelling and creativity.
Advanced skills in video editing, photography, and camera operation.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Analytical mindset for interpreting data and making strategic decisions.
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working Conditions
Full-time, remote role with standard office hours.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events or video shoots.
Ability to travel as needed for media events, video shoots, or conferences.
