Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Who You Are
We're looking for a proactive and experienced leader who enjoys overseeing the day-to-day operations of tennis programs, managing staff, and providing exceptional support to our Board, Executive Committee, and volunteers. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to guide key initiatives while ensuring the smooth execution of tennis events, programs, and organizational priorities.

What You'll Be Working On
Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a talented team to achieve our goals.
Governance and Board Support: Work closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Committee to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Tennis Programming: Oversee and enhance tennis programs that engage our community and grow the sport.
Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial planning to ensure the sustainability of our initiatives.
Problem-Solving: Address challenges with creative, effective solutions.
Staff Management: Provide leadership and mentorship to a dedicated team.
Member and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, partners, and stakeholders via email, phone, and other channels.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate on both short- and long-term operational and strategic goals.
Event Planning: Plan, organize, and execute key tennis events across the district.
Committee and Tournament Administration: Coordinate committee activities and manage tournament logistics.

National Tennis Month
Midwest Annual and Leadership Meetings
High School Coaches Annual Workshop
State High School Tournament
Organizing Special Events, including annual and spring meetings
Area Association Meetings/Luncheons
Tournament Director and Captain Meetings

Required Experience And Skills
Bachelor's Degree required
5-10 years of experience in sports or consumer marketing required
Marketing Experience Preferred
Knowledge of tennis and related programs is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Results-driven mindset
Passion for the game of tennis
Solid understanding of finance and financial management
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Leading Teams
Ability to motivate and guide teams toward success
Problem-solving capabilities with quick and effective solutions
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Self-aware, a good listener, and open to feedback
Growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Travel Requirements
Local travel throughout the district based on events and meetings
Minimal overnight travel (less than 5%)
Occasional travel to USTA/Midwest Section meetings
