Inspector of Quality Components and Products

Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Inspector II, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high quality standards. You will be responsible for inspecting a variety of components, parts, and products within your designated area, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and quality assurance guidelines. Your expertise will aid in identifying quality issues related to design and processes, thereby enhancing our production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components throughout various stages of the production process.
• Analyze statistical data to verify compliance with established standards or pinpoint deviations.
• Execute visual inspections of soldered connections as well as mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Prepare and finalize all requisite documentation to report the acceptance or rejection of inspected items.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, as well as design or process inefficiencies.
• Perform routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies, and tooling.
• Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; flexibility for variable schedules and additional hours may be required.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong ability to adhere to established job instructions and procedures with minimal oversight.
• Proficient in applying a systematic quality assurance approach to address a range of technical challenges.
• Skilled in measuring and operating test equipment as per job assignments.
• Capable of interpreting and executing written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches.

Qualifications

• A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
• Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in quality inspection or a similar domain.
