Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Employment Attorney to join our accomplished litigation team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an attorney with up to three years of experience who is passionate about employment law, particularly in the area of discrimination cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling employment law cases with a focus on litigation, counseling, and compliance, especially concerning discrimination matters.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare essential legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Offer sound legal counsel and devise effective strategies for addressing client concerns.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Actively engage in client meetings and contribute to the strategic discussions surrounding cases.
  • Stay updated on current developments in employment law to deliver optimal service to our clients.

  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear and precise legal documents.
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills to evaluate complex legal issues effectively.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in a reciprocal jurisdiction of Kansas and/or Missouri (KS & MO license preferred).
  • 0-3 years of experience in active legal practice.
