We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Engineering Technician supporting the U.S. Engineering Services Team, a typical day will include:

• Support engineers in the testing, design, modification, and improvement of products/processes.
• Activities include but are not limited to, identifying and recommending improvements/preventive actions, calibrating equipment, interfacing with medical device software, inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and systems.
• Monitors processes, estimates costs, makes or verifies calculations, analyzes and interprets data and tests new and modified products, processes, and/or systems
  
  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 3 Years of Relevant Experience Work hours:
• Travel: No travel
• Relocation: No
• Sponsorship Assistance: No
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Must have extensive knowledge of medical device testing procedures, calibration and equipment maintenance, as well as light interfacing with elements of medical device software.
