What You’ll Do At Monteith Construction
As a superintendent, you will ensure the overall day-to-day supervision of field related construction activities. Including ensuring a safe work environment, effective LEAN planning and scheduling, cost control, quality control, coordination of trade partners, as well as strengthening relationships by ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do At Monteith Construction
As a superintendent, you will ensure the overall day-to-day supervision of field related construction activities. Including ensuring a safe work environment, effective LEAN planning and scheduling, cost control, quality control, coordination of trade partners, as well as strengthening relationships by ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain Owner, Architect, Trade Partner & Supplier relationships
- Ensure that all projects are performed in accordance with contract and quality standards
- Schedule and direct the daily activities of work and taking necessary action to assure that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality and process are met
- Maintain daily paperwork; timecards, field reports, schedule updates, RFIs and E-mail correspondence
- Implement project schedules ensuring upcoming events are on track and being proactively attended to
- Promote and maintain safety, health and cleanliness on the jobsite
- Conduct and/or attend pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetings
- Participate in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in supervising commercial construction
- Ability to work non-traditional hours
- Excellent organizational, Communication, leadership and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with construction management software (Procore), a plus but not required
- Ability to travel
