Description
Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:
Assists Program Manager and/or Program Administrators with special projects including, but not limited to: dinner and a movie, employee of the month, family night, etc.
Creates and maintains yearly campus K-9 search schedule. Acts as liaison with the Akron Police Department (APD) for any scheduling conflicts. Notifies appropriate program supervisors and APD of scheduling changes as they occur. Ensures confidentiality of scheduled K-9 searches; keeps schedule on a need-to-know basis. Ensures that a full-facility report is entered in ORION and the appropriate box is mark indicating it as a K-9 search to ensure Internal Affairs Department can verify invoices accurately.
Completes a weekly review of CCIS web site. Prints historic in-house roster from ORION for the previous week and compares it to intake and termination reports from CCIS for the same timeframe. Ensures all required CCIS forms have been entered timely. Informs supervisor of any found issues.
Completes monthly review of CCIS website with Program Coordinator. Prints historic in-house roster from ORION and required reports from CCIS. Reviews for timeliness and data accuracy. Makes necessary changes in CCIS database in a timely and accurate manner.
Enters CCIS data accurately onto CCIS Web by established deadline.
Sorts and distributes referral paperwork to the appropriate caseworker. Forwards paperwork to the Admissions Department for clients in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintains and updates facility bulletin boards.
Maintains and updates the programming booklet consisting of all activities and programming available to clients in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintains and updates the facility’s daily activity schedules in an accurate and timely manner.
Assists management staff with preparation for program audits in an accurate and timely manner.
Assists with file retention and destruction in compliance with Agency policies and procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensures all intake packets with incoming client information is placed in the file drawer at the main post. Returns no shows to Admissions Department in an accurate and timely manner.
Handles facility narcotic medication disposal in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ORION. Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills required. Valid driver’s license, a driving record that does not preclude employee from being covered by Agency liability insurance, and reliable transportation. Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees, a diverse client population, and outside contacts.
